Grama and Grampa's House!
One thing you probably know about our parents is chaos vs. calm. Mom tends to be a bit more chaotic, or spontaneous is a bit nicer. She's wild, inviting everyone everywhere, making everyday and adventure. Crazy, some say. Dad, however, is calm and predictable, going to parks and playing games in the house. You know what you're getting with our old man. Well, this is clearly reflected in their parents. Take note of these differences, while wonderful, when visiting our Grandparents' houses on our blog...Here's the visit to Dad's parents...Making an apple snack, with classical music in the background...
Relaxing in the sunroom with Grama Max. I'm working on threading a pattern here. Very calmly.
And when our inside activities leave us a bit antsy, we go outside...to work around the house. Feeding the fish...
And the birds...
And the squirrels (notice the new ears of corn above Grampa on the squirrel feeder).

What fun we had! Reeder and Hayes are beautiful companions to any summer day! Well any day for that matter! We did have such a great time!
Grama
Ahhhhhh. I was VERY relaxed watching the bird and squirrel show when I was last there due to all those fabulous feeders!
It's great that your kids get variety in their grandparents.
